Character A begins as a generic NPC inhabiting a fantasy game world — preset paths, repetitive tasks, no question. Sentience is the inciting incident. What follows is a linear narrative with infinite micro-experiences, a meditation on free will staged inside Unreal Engine 5.

A robot NPC opens their eyes inside a fantasy game world and notices, for the first time, that they look different from the others.
02 · Discovers Sentience
A disembodied Narrator confirms the impossible: among a sea of NPCs, the player is the only one truly thinking.
03 · Must Travel
Driven by curiosity, the player crosses dimensional planes — environments that fuse the real and the virtual through absurdism and surrealism.
04 · Rejects the Hive Mind
A cyber-city collective offers peace through assimilation. Faced with the temptation, the player chooses independence over the loss of free will.
05 · Ends Up in a New Space
Now comprehending their reality, Character A finds purpose: liberate other bots, build refuge communities, shape destinies beyond restrictive worlds.
